International Furniture Wholesalers Saskatoon at Market Summer 2017 Episode 1 is the first video in a series that is going to take you along with us on our trip to Market this year.
We are very fortunate each year to go to Market and check out what is new to the furniture world in regards to functionality and style. And this year was spectacular!!!
We enjoyed how the Market was organized this year. They took a theme and put it into an area. Then they displayed different furniture pieces for different rooms that went with that specific theme. For example, they may have taken a traditional theme, built a room around it and added pieces of furniture like a bed, dining table and couch. This enabled us to see how we could work this theme throughout an entire home in Saskatoon.
Pick of the Day
Taya had two favorite “rooms” she really wanted to show you:
- The Glitz and Glamour Room-This room was incredibly luxurious with amazing wall decor, mirror and crystal accents on the furniture and crushed velvet. This room is perfect for the person who has glitter and glamour running through their veins.
- Boho Haven-While this room is also very luxurious it also has a very earthy feel to it. The mixture of woods and metals gives it a very comfortable and inviting feel.
Chet’s Pick of the Day The Sectional Sleeper
Chet took a different approach to his favorite pick of the day. Instead of going with a theme or a room he chose a piece of furniture. The Sectional Sleeper is a small sectional couch that converts into a small bed super easy. It is great for condo’s and even RV’s. Even though it is small it doesn’t loose any comfort.
The great thing about going to Market is we get to see incredibly inspirational ideas and bring them back to Saskatoon to ensure our customer’s home are stylish, functional and comfortable.
